I grew up in Temple Terrace back when it was rural on a small farm on the Hillsborough River. I have always loved nature and animals and have had many rescue pets growing up from a horse, goat, rabbit, and of course cats and dogs.

I have been involved in many organizations beginning as a 12 year old with the Masonic order Rainbow for Girls where I served as a state officer, I am former member of Tampa Junior Woman's Club, I am a member of Wellspring UMC and I am a member of the American Payroll Association. I have been a volunteer with St. Francis Society Animal Rescue since fall 2006.

I have a BA degree in Business Management with a minor in Finance from Eckerd College. I am also a CPP (Certified Payroll Professional).I work for OSI Restaurant Partners, LLC and am a Team Leader in the Payroll Department; I have been with them since 1991.

I live in Tampa with my husband, Dave and we share our home with 5 cats and 1 dog. Hobbies include camping, hiking, biking, canoeing, going to the beach, spending time with my beloved pets and anything outdoors.

My dream is to find loving homes for all homeless cats & dogs so that none have to live on the streets.
