If a cat is located in a foster home and the foster has provided contact information, you can get more details on a particular cat directly from them. Otherwise, click on the "Want to Adopt Me?" button next to a cat and someone will contact you.

My story: The Spice cat lost her home when her owners had to move. She has a very beautiful calico/tortie coat that is quite unusual. She had several dogs and small children in her former home and was fine with them, but has not been with other cats. She is very sweet, loves attention, loves to sit in your lap or lay in your arms and snuggle. She also rolls around on the floor or likes to lay in your lap and get scratched and rubbed. She is exceptionally sweet and really deserves a second chance at a loving home. She has been cross-eyed since birth, but it makes her all the more endearing. She may hiss and moan at first, but is not aggressive and bonds very quickly, within 2-3 days. She eats wet or dry food, has impeccable litter box habits, and allows her claws to be trimmed if you do just 3 or 4 at a time. Spice will make a great and loving family friend and companion.

My story: Mindy is a sweet, shy and dainty little girl. There is a good chance that someone was not so nice to her in her past so she is in particular need of someone who is gentle and a quiet household would be perfect for her. She will meet you at the door when you come home every day; she wants to be near always; will meow at you to say hi, will sleep with you, but squints her eyes when her head is petted b/c she is not sure if she will be hurt, but will not run away, and when she sees that its a sweet gentle pet, she is happy, and sticks her behind in the air.

My story: Susie Q is a black and white cat who has been declawed on her front two feet. She prefers to be outdoors during the day but comes in at dusk to eat and for bonding and attention. Susie enjoys hanging out in the bathtub or in the bathroom sink and is very chatty. She was previously abandoned in my grandma’s neighborhood. Susie Q came around my grandma’s house for about a year before she warmed up to my grandma and came inside. My grandmother took care of Susie Q until she was diagnosed with leukemia and was told that she could not have any pets. She asked me to give Susie Q a home. Upon taking her in, I quickly learned that she is terrified of dogs of all sizes. I have a guide dog as I am legally blind and Susie hides out in the bathroom until late in the evening when my dog goes into her kennel for the night. As a result, I am looking for a loving home where I know Susie can come and go safely and will be well loved and cared for. My story: Marshall just showed up at a volunteer’s door and wasn’t very sociable. Over time he became somewhat friendly. He is a gorgeous flame point mix with beautiful blue eyes and has an unfriendly brother, Dillan, who is even better looking (no photo available at this time). We feel that these guys would make great barn cats since they love being outside. Anyone adopting these fellows would have to keep him/them in a roomy cage on the property for at least two weeks in order for him/them to bond with the location and not just run off. Barn cats must be fed daily since a diet of mice will not sustain them. He/they will be fixed and current on shots when adopted. For more information contact Joyce at justcalljoyce@verizon.net

My story: My brother Cat and I had to come to St Francis because our owner developed allergies. She tried everything to keep us but it didn't work out. She was heartbroken because we are such sweet, loving lap cats. We don't want to be separated so please open your home and heart to both of us.

My story: Flower is a super sweet, loving kitty. She loves attention and will show you with a nice purr. She doesn't mind dogs at all and enjoys a nice lap to curl up on.
